PayIn, PayOut and Settlement: how traders earn

The three operations every P2P trader works with — incoming payments, outgoing payments and converting the bank balance into USDT — and why Settlement speed matters.

PayIn, PayOut and Settlement: how traders earn

Every working session on a P2P processing platform comes down to three operations: PayIn, PayOut and Settlement. Knowing how they fit together is what separates a trader who waits for orders from one who keeps the volume moving.

PayIn — incoming payments

The trader receives approved payments from customers directly into their own bank account, and earns the PayIn commission on every successful payment.

PayIn is the main source of income, because it usually makes up the largest part of the total transaction volume.

PayOut — outgoing payments

The trader sends approved payments from their bank account to customers, following the platform's instructions. PayOut also earns a commission, but it is usually a smaller part of the total income than PayIn.

Settlement — converting the bank balance into USDT

After a stretch of PayIn volume, rupees build up in the trader's bank account. Settlement is how that balance goes back to the platform: the trader converts the remaining funds into USDT and sends them to the platform.

Why Settlement matters

  • Traders get better rates on Settlement
  • Settlement can bring additional profit
  • You do not have to wait for enough PayOut orders to clear the balance
  • A fast Settlement frees up your banking limit
  • More free capacity means you can take more PayIn traffic

How the three fit together

OperationWhat happensWhat it gives you
PayInYou receive customer paymentsThe main commission
PayOutYou send approved paymentsAdditional commission
SettlementYou convert the remaining balance into USDTA free limit and room for new traffic

The cycle is simple: PayIn fills your account, PayOut and Settlement empty it, and a free limit is ready for the next PayIn. The faster and more carefully you work with all three operations, the more volume you can process.

Keep the balance low

A large balance sitting on a working account is a risk in itself. The safe amounts are on bank account types and limits — regular Settlement keeps you inside them.

PayIn and PayOut rates differ from platform to platform. The current numbers are on the offers page.
