P2P Processing Glossary

Payin, payouts, security balance, traffic, appeals and chargebacks — the terms used in P2P processing in India, explained briefly.

The words below come up on every offer page and inside every platform dashboard. Short definitions, in the sense they are used here.

Rates and money

Payin — incoming payments. A customer pays rupees into the trader's account, and the trader earns the payin percentage on that turnover.

Payouts — outgoing payments. The trader sends rupees from their account to a customer and earns the payouts percentage on that turnover.

Total rate — payin and payouts added together, for example 3.5% + 1.5% = 5%. It is reached when a trader works in both directions.

Turnover — the total volume of payments a trader has processed over a period.

Referral percentage — an extra percentage an agent or team lead receives on top of their margin for the traders they bring.

Deposit and balances

Security balance — the part of the entry deposit the platform reserves as a guarantee. It is not spent on orders and, on the platforms listed on this site, can be returned on request.

Working (traffic) balance — the part of the deposit that actually moves while orders are processed.

Test period — a trial run on a smaller deposit before committing the full amount, where a platform offers one.

USDT TRC20 — USDT on the Tron network. Platform panels are usually topped up this way.

Work on the platform

Panel / dashboard — the platform's interface where orders arrive and where the trader confirms payments.

UPI ID — the address used to receive payments through India's UPI system, for example name@bank.

Traffic — the flow of payment orders coming through the platform. MIX traffic means orders from several kinds of sources rather than one.

Automation — software on the trader's device that handles orders instead of manual work. Some platforms only work this way.

Appeal — a dispute raised when an order does not match: the payment did not arrive, the amount differs or the details are wrong. The platform's support reviews it.

Chargeback — a reversal of a payment after it has already gone through. Who covers it depends on the platform's rules.

Cyber complaint — a complaint to the police cybercrime unit about a transaction. It can lead to the receiving account being frozen while the complaint is reviewed.
